Supplier monitoring & margin protection

Know when supplier changes start eating your margin.

Holdline tracks supplier prices, stock, shipping, lead times, MOQs and competitor prices — then sends a weekly margin report plus same-day alerts when a meaningful change is caught.

A personal margin watch for 5 new sellers at a time. Start with a free sample snapshot on your own SKUs — the paid service begins only if it is useful to you.

SKU-101 · LED dog collar · Amazon watching
net landed margin 52.2% ▼ 2.3pp
COST +14% · FREIGHT +21%
Supplier unit cost and shipping both rose this week.
OUT OF STOCK
SKU-104 supplier has no inventory — reorder risk.
UNDERCUT
A competitor dropped a similar SKU below your price.
The problem

Small changes you never see add up to margin you never recover.

With 20–100 SKUs across several suppliers, no one re-checks landed cost every week. So the leaks go unnoticed until a quarter looks worse than it should.

COST +12%

A supplier quietly raises unit price and your margin erodes on a SKU you haven't looked at in months.

FREIGHT +

Shipping per unit creeps up and silently cuts landed margin — separately from the unit cost.

OUT OF STOCK

A product goes out of stock at your supplier and you find out only when you try to reorder.

LEAD +3d · MOQ ↑

Longer lead times and higher minimums break your cash and replenishment timing.

UNDERCUT

A competitor undercuts your best SKU and you lose the comparison before you notice.

MANUAL / NEVER

Most small sellers track all of this by hand, or not at all. There aren't enough hours.

Supplier coverage

Works with the supplier sources you already use.

AliExpress, Alibaba, 1688, wholesale sites, manufacturer pages and other public supplier pages — anywhere price, stock, MOQ or lead-time information is visible.

No store or marketplace login required · no private supplier contracts · public links plus your price and fee assumptions are enough for the sample.

Who it's for

Built for sellers with a real catalog and real margins to protect.

A fit if you have

  • 20–100 active SKUs
  • 2–10 recurring suppliers
  • supplier-dependent margins
  • repeat replenishment cycles
  • competitors who move price often

Not for

  • one-product experiments
  • pure market research
  • stores without supplier or margin tracking
  • hobby projects without replenishment pressure
How it works

From your links to a live margin watch.

STEP 01

Share your store, SKUs, or supplier links

Start with a store URL, a small set of priority SKUs, or supplier pages you already use. For the free sample, we usually start with 2–3 products. For the paid service, we define the watched SKU set together.

STEP 02

We build the watchlist

We map products to supplier pages, shipping assumptions, stock signals, MOQs, lead times and competitor references — then track the changes that can move your margin.

STEP 03

You get reports and alerts

You receive a weekly margin report and same-day human alerts when a material change is caught in your watched SKUs.

What you get

Every week, on one screen.

COST Supplier price changes by SKU
STOCK Stock and out-of-stock alerts
FREIGHT Shipping-per-unit movement
SUPPLY MOQ and lead-time changes
RIVALS Competitor price moves
MARGIN Landed-margin change per SKU
ACTION One recommended move
ALERTS Same-day human alert when a material change is caught

Concierge margin watch

Personal monitoring before automation.

Holdline starts as a hands-on margin watch for a small number of sellers at a time. We prepare the first reports personally, verify the numbers, and send same-day human alerts when material changes are caught. The point isn't to make you learn another tool — it's to put a margin watch on the SKUs that matter first.

FAQ

Straight answers.

What exactly is Holdline?
Holdline is a concierge margin watch for sellers with supplier-dependent products. We monitor selected SKUs, supplier pages, shipping assumptions, stock signals and competitor references, then send a weekly margin report plus same-day human alerts when a material change is caught.
What data do you need?
For the sample, you can send a store URL, selected product/SKU links, supplier pages and competitor references if available. Public links are enough to start. You can also share selling price, fee assumptions or shipping assumptions if you want a more useful margin estimate.
Do you need access to my store or marketplace account?
No logins, ever. We do not need access to your Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, eBay, Walmart, supplier or payment accounts for the sample. Public pages plus your price and fee assumptions are enough.
How is Holdline different from research tools?
Research tools help sellers evaluate markets, keywords and product opportunities. Holdline focuses on margin operations after products are already selling: supplier cost, stock, shipping, lead-time, MOQ and competitor-price changes that can move landed margin.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The paid service is monthly and can be cancelled anytime. No long-term contract.
What happens if nothing changes this week?
You still get the report. “All stable” is useful information when you rely on suppliers. If a material change is caught during monitoring, you get a same-day human alert instead of waiting for the next weekly report.
How accurate are the margin numbers?
Margins are estimates based on supplier pages, selling price, shipping cost, platform fees and assumptions you provide. The goal is not accounting precision — it is to catch meaningful changes early enough to act.
Which supplier sources can you track?
Public supplier pages from AliExpress, Alibaba, 1688, wholesale sites, manufacturer pages and other supplier sources where price, stock, MOQ or lead-time information is visible.
How many links do I need to send?
For the free sample, you can start with a store URL or 2–3 priority products and supplier links. For the paid service, we define the watched SKU set based on your catalog, supplier structure and plan.
Can you scan my store instead of asking for individual product links?
Yes. You can start with a store URL, selected SKUs or supplier links. For the free sample we keep the scope small so the report is useful quickly. For the paid service, we define the watched SKU set together.
